Many of the reviewers don't include what their measurements are and what size they purchased. Thanks! (me-12to14. w32 h43)** A: I think they run a little large? I say that because I'm 5'1" and weigh 125 pounds. My problem is my weight is in my bottom, so to fit my hips/butt I normally wear a size 12 petite Levi's jeans. And my Marmot ski pants is a size "Large." But I've been searching for shorter ski pants, and so I ordered these in Medium Short, and they fit great in length and hips/butt. As usual, the waist and legs are too wide, but I'm used to that (being forced to size all my pants based on hip/butt size). These pants have two velcro tabs in the waist which helps a bit. Anyway, based on my fitting a Medium Short, it makes me think they run large (again, with other brands I have to buy size 12 or Large). **Q: are they waterproof?** A: No, not at all.I have 2pairs of snow pants. My old snow pants are waterproof so I was able to star warm and dry all the time. And, I wanted to try this new snow pants yesterday and I am totally disappointed. I wore these pants on snowy day and all my clothes from theses pants to underwear got soaked wet after 2hr skiing lesson. I would not recommend these pants unless you want to get wet after playing in snow. **Q: Is this a petite size? I'm 5'5 and a 32 in. inseam would be way too long. I would probably get a large. Anyone know if these were too long?** A: I usually wear a 30” inseam and regular was perfect for me I think because of snow boots and such. Put on with some thermal leggings underneath and was overheating inside. Will be using for skiing next weekend, so hopefully still warm in the cold and snow. I sized up based on other recommendations in the reviews. I’m a 16 UK and got an XL, to ensure I had room for movement in the seat and legs. They’re definitely a bit loose on me, but not overly so once I put my thermals on underneath. I do find the waist a bit too loose, even with all my layers and tightening the sides, but I have a 32” waist and the sizing that came with the pants says XL waist is 33” to 36” so I can’t really complain. They don’t seem loose enough to fall down, but may look to tighten them.
