On the Labor Day holiday no less. Precision Impact was all over rectifying the problem and I already have a replacement in hand less than 3 full days later. I hadn't originally noticed their box marking claiming "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" but they surely lived up to it. I have no issues with the product and would definitely recommend. One other thing I omitted from my original review - the drawstring bag that accompanies the set is very heavy duty and high quality. Not something that will only last a short time. A great bonus. Updating my review to 5 stars. ------------------- This is getting a 2 star review because of a significant problem with one of the balls. I have contacted Precision Impact and will update this review if they correct the problem. When I opened the package I had my kid do a feel test to see which ball was the same as a real baseball. Trick question because the set doesn't come with a regulation 5 oz ball! I was curious if he'd go for the 4 or 6 ounce ball. But he zeroed right in on the 6 so I did the feel test too and sure enough it felt just right. Would not have guessed 20% heavier at all. So I broke out the kitchen scale and found the 6oz ball was really 5oz, as were several other real baseballs I broke out for comparison (all with 1/8 oz of each other). Now I normally wouldn't make a big stink over an ounce, but I bought this set primarily to use with a 20% under/overload program so the 4 and 6 ounce balls were pretty important to me. As I said above I contacted Precision Impact. If they replace the ball I'll update the review because otherwise the balls seem pretty decent. For those who are interested, I weighed the entire set. All other balls seem reasonably close to their listed weights (some over, some under). Here's what I found: 3oz - 2 7/8oz real weight 4oz - 4 1/8 oz 6oz - 5 <<< the problem ball 7oz - 6 5/8 8oz - 8 9oz - 9 10oz - 10 1/8 11oz - 11 1/8 12oz - 11 7/8 Review: Good off-season pitching workout. - Good full range set. Nice that they have seems. Colors make it easy to keep track of weight. Be careful of throwing too much. I am not comfortable with him using weighted training baseballs over 12oz. I am hopeful that we can build to heavier weights after routine use of these training aides. He was excited to use them and the effort put into throwing was impressive.
