The tubes were smaller than I anticipated but a little goes a long way and I was able to get eight 9 x 12 paintings completed before I ran out of white and had to buy some more. The thinner that it comes with is imo the key to making them last and really helps with blending. The paint quality is really good and I was really impressed with the outcome of my art work. I've been working with Blue Ridge Oils, but wanted to keep my "feet wet" with acrylics, so thought I'd try the Gold OPEN. Very nice feel to these paints, excellent coverage, super saturation. The addition of the OPEN Thinner extends the drying time even further. Close enough to oil that I think it is an excellent alternative. The landscape set doesn't include black, so I had to mix a gray using ultramarine blue, alazarin crimson and cadmium yellow. Pros buy them *by I***I on August 24, 2025* Sister paints, says she loves how she can paint for much longer with very little paint. Size of bottles is kind of eh, would rather buy buckets at this point 😂 Paint quality is amazing. Color variety is there but they want to you buy the specific stuff unless you’re a pro and can mix it yourself with these original ones. Dries slow, but steady.
