The Venture Bros.: The Complete Series (DVD)

I got this as a Christmas gift for my fiancé, the case is good quality, none of the disks were broken or scratched.

I ordered this DVD set from the UK (DVD region 2) for my Daughter, I was expecting to have to either buy a region 1 DVD drive or modify mine but the DVD's are region free! This means they play on standard UK DVD/blu ray players and DVD drives. They are also unencrypted so copying them to my Daughters PC was simple (she wants to watch it on her PC but has no DVD drive) Awesome quality & value, highly recommended to all Venture Bros fans!

I never liked this series when it first watched but I watched it young at like 15 so most of it flew over my head now watching at 27 and it was a blast I understood a lot more the jokes were great and the characters were a blast to see just evolve over the seasons just for them come back to certain things to get answered but also create more questions being created during their adventures. This also looks very good since animation can hold up even if it is a DVD but it is a small shame there isn't a blu ray version of this. The are negatives to this disc set and that being the way the discs are held they lay on top of each other and one of disc button doesn't hold well so if I were angle it both disc would fall out of the slot and that is reason I hate these type of cases since each disc holder has to hold two disc and the lay on top I believe each should have their own place in the collection rather than making a cheap holder for two but I shouldn't too harsh since it was a good deal that I purchased it for and the last negative I have is that this is series is over and I wish there could be more since it is a very good series that left some stones unturned I hope this series can have a come back.

Item was great all episodes played just like they should and then set was complete. I thought it a good bargain.

Do not buy these. Show is great, but the packaging and actual DVDs are completely terrible. Many of the snaps that hold the discs in place were totally crumbled when the set arrived. Additionally, the "pages" for the discs are not attached to the spine of the case. Easily the worst DVD set case I have ever encountered in my life. Many of the discs don't play properly, either skipping or just not starting at all. I couldn't even make a complete set of functional DVDs across two different sets. The most embarrassing, worthless set of DVDs I have ever seen. And it's the only option to physically own the whole series.

I purchased this box set since Venture Bros is hard to flag down on streaming so having it all in a convenient box set was a huge plus. Unfortunately, since this is a DVD and not a Blu Ray set I did see some minor resolution issues like a white outline around the black line work of any character that moves. It was distracting at first but not a huge issue. Additionally, the second disc of Season 6 skipped at the end of the last episode. Overall: a good way to get most of the Venture Bros content, but be aware there could be some minor issues.

I love owning the full series of this great show. I haven't found any new features that were not included in the original DVD season collections tho. Some of the DVDs had little smudges on them, requiring me to clean them before playing. No scratches or other problems. There is enough room in the collection case to store a couple more DVDs/CD 's in the back(just resting loosely, not secured) and that let me put a couple CD's of their soundtracks in it. If you're a fan of the show and don't own all the seasons, pick this up

Well worth the money

Brilliant show. For the true fan experience you should wait at least three years between watching the seasons.

The show is good. Seven seasons and special features. Also delivered in time. But the plastic case holding the dvds was cracked, as if it was dropped at some point. It came in the bubble-padded white 'amazon prime' bag, maybe it was dropped before shipping, or crushed during, can't say (kinda should'nt have to if it came in good condition, anyways) I'm disapointed that my new box set came damaged, but the show is worth it. You can probably find it streaming somewhere on the interwebs

Watch it! spanakopita!!!

I received this a head of schedule, it was sealed and undamaged. I had watched it out of order on adult swim, so it is good to actually get it in order. Great quality

Came quickly, however, despite what other reviews say this product is region locked.
