## Description

Protect your home inside and out with the XFORT door and window lock with key. This security lock can be fitted on both uPVC windows and doors that open in or out. For inside safety, the window and door lock helps protect children from unlocking a door or window themselves, and ensures that no one will be able to accidentally unlock the door or window from the inside. A low-cost home security solution, this door jammer prevents the levering of the window sash or door leaf, which is the most common way intruders can gain access to inside your home. The sliding window lock also provides resistance against forced entry so intruders cannot gain access. Available in your choice of white or dark brown finish, this sash jammer for uPVC doors and windows will blend effortlessly with your outdoor facade. It comes with both 1mm and 2mm packers to ensure a secure fit and easy installation.

Review: Well worth the money - Brilliant. Works great. I fitted them to my upvc window, there’s no fitting instructions but it was fairly simple. I positioned them on the frame of the window opening and used a 3mm drill bit to make the holes for the screws. You need about 4-5mm clearance from the edge of the frame to allow for the way the window opens (windows open in an arc). There’s plenty of packers/spacers that come with them so should be enough for most window frame thicknesses. The screws are self tapping and do not need to be over tightened ( hand tight works well). There’s also some caps to cover the holes for the screws. The keys are a bit fiddly to use but a drop of WD40 helped with that.
Review: Easy to fit and well made. - Very easy to fit - no drilling just use the self tapping screws provided. Keys can be removed when jammer is locked- all good.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good and sturdy
*by T***O on 10 February 2025*

I actually use these to hold a sash window OPEN. The cords have snapped and access boxes have about 100 years of paint on them. We has a loop and eye before but it wasn't very secure. This works great, screw to the frame open the window then lock in place You have to unlock it to close the window so safe for our dog to put her head out!
