So the O-40 would work on anything with a 40mm, O-44 would be the 44mm etc... The Eyepiece should fit just about all eyepieces. **Q: Will this fit on the eyepiece of a vortex viper pst 6x24x50?** A: Mine does NOT. It fits snugly over my 6-24x50 PST eyepiece, but the rubber runs into the first knob before it slides all the way on. Worse yet, the cap simply will not stay closed, which negates the whole point of having a cap. I will return this one and try a different cap. **Q: What size caps would i need for a vortex viper pst gen II 1-6x24?** A: According to vortex website sizes E-10 and O-24 **Q: Is this just one cap or for both ends** A: This would be just one cap .
