A: The ears are reversible so you can mount it either way.

**Q: Are the rack ears reversible**
A: Yes they are reversible.

**Q: Can this patchbay pass through phantom power sent from mixing desk**
A: From the P16 user manual..."The signals may include phantom power for microphones that require it. The P16's outputs are connected directly to the inputs (pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2 and pin 3 to pin 3) so that phantom power passes through unchanged. Please note, however, that you should be extremely careful not to connect phantom power to an input or output not designed to handle it."
