The ending isn’t perfect, but I’m willing to ignore that I definitely dislike what they did with the ending. The love between Nathan and Louis is apparent at the party and actually before that when Nathan is introduced to the literature class... I truly enjoy seeing them looking at each other and knowing that they already liked each other.When the two boys find a seemingly secluded spot they’re inexperienced and a little scared and they captured this moment... and I’m only sorry that they’re kissing was interrupted.I’m happy a number of the characters were sort of fleshed out... the wretchedness of the bullies, the principal and Nathan’s two teachers, the math teacher and her female interest,Nathan’s relationship with his dad and Louis with his dad and mum, and Nathan’s dad interacting with his police colleagues.A pity that Louis’ dad was nice at the start and the end I saw a glimmer of hope that his character would start to accept Louis being gay and be proud of him... and there I feel heartbroken for Louis.I kind of imagine Stephane,Nathan’s dad... being a second dad for Louis. The collection of actors were truly well cast.As soon as I saw Hidden Kisses on HereTV... I knew I’d have to buy it. This photo influences their subsequent love life, which is already marred by the homophobic repartee from the same school they attend. A high quality drama, which should engage you while you watch this movie. A great film! *by B***R on August 21, 2018* The finest story of young gay teenagers coming to grips with who they are and how to deal with it. Painful at times and difficult to watch but truly a fine piece of work. Beautifully acted, photographed, written, and edited this an absolute work of art. This film really gets to the heart of what it is like to be a young gay teen trying to find yourself in the world of cruel teens who just can't help themselves bullying someone who is different than what they perceive as the norm.
