Review: Cheap and easy fix for my Delonghi Magnifica - Bought this to repair a friend's Delonghi Magnifica which suddenly stopped working. I was a bit surprised the pump had failed because it sounded normal when I switched the machine on. Easily diagnosed by disconnecting the valve on the output side and seeing if any water comes out when you run the pump. I also checked the filter and flow meter to see if they were blocked. The pump swap is quite easy, with just three tubes and two electrical connections. The pump is just held in place with two rubber mounts. One of the electrical connections incorporates a thermal sensor which was glued in place on the old pump. It was easily removed and I secured it in place on the new pump with a hot glue gun.
Review: Authentic and good price - Refitted to a 2011 Gaggia Classic. Easy to do. Follow several 'How to' videos on You-tube for guidance. My initial problem was the pump was making its usual pumping noise but no water out of the group head or the steam wand. Took me 1 hour to change. Now fully working with the new pump and better than before.

Pump was purchased as a replacement for a Delonghi Magnifica coffee machine. Arrived swiftly and was well packaged. It was a fairly simple job to fit, 3 pipes and 2 electrical connectors to transfer from the old pump. Took about 40 mins to fit and test
