Would it be able to crimp the 1.75 inch mini shells?** A: i think 2 1/2 inch is as short as you can roll crimp, but if you use a felt wad as an extension it will work **Q: Can I get one in 16ga at the same price?** A: I do not know. I got it in 12 ga. and bought the 20 ga. holder and crimper at the same time. **Q: Can this make the short mini shells? 2 inch and under?** A: No, it has a stop so it can only crimp so far. I got it for short shells too and it's worthless for them. I haven't tried it but there is a roll crimp bit I've seen around that might be worth a try for shorter shells.
