It's pricey but it's worth it in my opinion, you could replace this with all other cleaning products. I find it amazing on stainless steel cooker top and extractor hood, removes years of tarnish and makes it look like new, gives ut a mirror shine. Tried every product on the market for cooker top and nothing has cleaned as well as this. Taps and chrome comes up amazing. Brilliant for cleaning grout between tiles. I also have a white ceramic sink that marks so easily with metal scratches etc, bar keepers friend works well for this but this is the only other cleaner that does the job just as well. It just washes off may sort of a powder residue which can just be wiped off with a damp cloth then dry with a piece of kitchen paper. It seems fairly solid white substanace upon opening the lid and sliding the sponge across its surface seems to have little traction** A: Soak the sponge in warm water then squeeze most of the water out. Place the wet sponge on top of the cleaning block. Rub the sponge into the block to give you a cleaning paste/ lather. Rub the sponge into surface to be cleaned then wipe off with a clean rung-out cloth. May need to be repeated a couple of times. When cleaning complete, leave the block and sponge to dry out before replacing the lid. **Q: Can you use cleaning paste to clean inside oven?** A: Yes I've used this on bottom of oven and glass , not the self cleaning parts **Q: Is this vegan and cruelty free?** A: The carton does not state your question phrase. I've tried it on my shower screen too - I live in a hard water area, so have lots of limescale marks on the glass. It's not as effective as I'd hoped when it comes to the limescale, and will need another go over with the clay paste.
