Tool Weight is 9.0 oz w/o the case . The case is super light. Didn't bother weighing it. Spring loaded pliers with smooth handles that are rounded and easy on the hands. Very strong feeling. Stronger feeling (less deflection when squeezed hard) than most more expensive multitools. Replaceable hard wire cutters. (They are bypass cutters). Just tried it on a 14 gauge electrical wire. Cuts OK. The blade is a plane blade, a little beefier than the wave, and very sharp. The blade is one handed access when closed. the saw is sharp and seems fine. It has a nice sewing awl. Could be a tad sharper. (The can opener could also be a tad sharper. Easy to do myself). There is a fold down wrench thing for 7, 8 10, and 14 mm nuts. The File is awesome. Diamond file on one side that feels like high quality, and standard steel cut file on the other side. Love it! It has big robust scissors that just worked fine trimming a thumb nail. When you open the scissors, pull hard until it clicks, which puts the spring into action. The plastic rocker type release on the inner tools takes a second to figure out. Not a problem. It has a real 3D phillips head with a decent shaft length. Greatly prefer that to the 2 D removable type. It has the standard can opener, bottle opener with a couple flat heads on the end. And one of those blister package package opener things that also look like a pull type line cutter. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks good at first glance. It came with a nice stiff ballistic nylon belt carry case that fits well with no rattle, closes with a snap button that has the hole in the center, and a Kydex (I think) belt clip that opens at the bottom so you can leave your belt on and install or remove the case. The bottom of the belt clip is like the letter "C" so it will not fall off the belt. The bottom of the case has a water drain hole. the tool also has its own belt clip on it that can be removed. Everything opens and closes as it should. Nothing that breaks a finger nail to operate. A couple of my higher priced tools do not open so easily. No removable bit drivers, which is fine with me. If I need a bit driver kit, I consider that a separate tool. Review: Good quality, handy, sharp blades - I'm impressed with the quality of this multi tool. Construction seems durable enough for casual hiking/camping/survival packs. Knives and scissors are very sharp. I own several Perwin knives and they're all very nice for that price range.(Cheap) Probably the best in that price range. I had a genuine Leatherman multi tool 30 years ago, before they were $$$.(It resides at the bottom of a lake) This Perwin approaches it's quality and is definitely better than any other knockoff I've encountered since. Only con I can find is it's pliers might not stand up to serious gorilla force like a $$$ tool might and the hex wrench seems pretty flimsy. That said, this thing is a welcome addition to any camping pack or bug out bag. Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Has a very sturdy feel *by B***D on December 4, 2025* I just received the Perwin 22 in 1 multi tool. It feels heavy for it's size. It comes with a pouch that is a clip-on style for belt, strap or pocket. It also has a hole in the bottom for a water drain. There is also a clip on the tool itself. The tolerances are very close; there is no wiggle and the tools come out alright but it feels tight. The tools lock in pIace very solidly; took me a bit to find the thin black lock plates that release the various tools. The pliers are spring loaded and feel real nice. The scissors needed a little extra pushing to lock because of a little interference with the frame. The file tooling, which is one of the reasons I bought it could be a tad longer but seems reasonable. It has a metal/wood file on one side and what looks like a diamond or sapphire coated nail file which could also be used as a knife sharpener. It has no teeth for cutting metal on the sides as some other tools have. The wrench, which works as a keeper for the outside tools on one side and is reasonably thick, has several metric sizes 7, 8, 10 and 14. I wish, that here they had made it a 13mm instead of the 14mm.
