Very bright after several washes - I bought this set last year and can report that after nearly a year of repeated wearing and washing, the colours are almost as bright as when first dyed! Make sure you follow the instructions and use 100% cotton. We got at least ten child tees out of this and there are a few bottles left, so I'd say it could probably do at least another 2 or 3. We hand washed the first few times in case of dye bleed, and now just chuck them in a coloured wash at 40.
