I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the ring supports the phone in the horizontal position only when laid on a table. I bought a separate case with ring for my other iPhone and THAT supports the iPhone vertically & horizontally. That's the only negative thing so far. The pros are: durability (still looks new after a 2 month overseas travel), can charge it even with case on, protects my iphone well though I've dropped it several times on my carpet floor, thin enough to put in my jeans pocket, easy to remove. After 5 months, the ring is still intact and I use it a lot. Regardless of what you’re doing, if your brightness is at least 50% and you’re indoors, the phone will overheat and the iPhone will auto dim to try and cool down. This occurs even when I’m just laying in bed watching YouTube, browsing the web, or reading the news.The ring in the back got loose after 1 month with normal use. The main issue is when the adhesive on the top part of the case started coming apart.I’m sure some people will say it’s normal wear and tear or user error.
