Worth the price. **Q: Before I give poor review, are all shoe inserts much smaller than the mount? I can wiggle it 20 degrees either side!! Should it be snug with no play?** A: Little wiggle is fine and it depends on what you are mounting it (steel ,plastic ...) but if it is a lot maybe the shoe mount is not standart . **Q: Is that a 1/4-20 threaded tap, and does it go all the way through, please? The photos do not show it.** A: Yes, it's 1/4-20 and it goes all the way through. (It wouldn't be very useful if it were only tapped from the top. Being able to screw it onto a bolt from the bottom of the cold shoe is critical.)
