## Questions & Answers

**Q: My stainless steel appliances were damaged with grout cleaner. Would this product restore thei look?**
A: While some customers have had success with Scratch Pro on stoves and such, the kit is designed for stainless steel sinks, and we do not recommend using it on appliances, and especially on refrigerators. Appliances usually have a matte finish, but the Scratch Pro kit gives you a shiny polished look. Furthermore, you will need to go over the entire surface to get uniform look.

**Q: Sandpaper on stainless steel? Seems risky.**
A: I used this on some stainless cookware that food was starting to stick to. I achieved a mirror shine and no more sticking! The sandpaper is 800 grit. The diamond paste is not marked with grit or %age. Elbow grease is essential for a good result.

**Q: My stainless steel sink has chemical stains, will this product work on those types of stains?**
A: It depends but usually you would have to sand off the surface where the chemical has penetrated, and that could be pretty deep. In that case, it would not be possible to get rid of the stains with the Scratch Pro kit. The kit is designed for removing light scratches and polishing, but not for grinding.

**Q: Will this work on the aluminum below the monitor on the iMac ?**
A: I think it's design for stainless steel I don't know about aluminum I would try a little spot that's out of the way before I did it but it works for stainless steel sinks frigerators appliances and so forth sorry can't help
