## Description

BIGTREETECH SB2209 CAN V1.0

## Features

- Adopting the leading STM high-performance 32-bit 64MHz STM32G0B1RET6 main control chip, it ensures the stability of CAN bus signals and can achieve long-distance high-speed data transmission, bidding farewell to cumbersome cable management from now on!
- The EBB SB2209 is equipped with TMC2209 driver chip and a ultra silent stepper driver, making it the most cost-effective choice for motors that are not prone to stepping out. It has functions such as overheating protection, stall protection, and preventing motor vibration.
- The CAN Bus of XT30 communication interface supports a maximum current of 10A, making it safer to use; The interface is more stable when plugged in and out, reducing the shaking caused by extrusion movement; Equipped with a dedicated 3m CAN Bus wire, it is easy to use and eliminates the need for crimping terminals and other steps.
- The onboard ADXL345 accelerometer and reserved SPI interface facilitate the activation of Klipper resonance compensation function; The SPI interface can be externally connected to the ADXL345 accelerometer module, with flexible installation positions to meet more DIY usage scenarios.
- On board temperature sensor, monitoring tool board MCU stability, extrusion head cavity temperature, more reliable to use; On board Max31865, with paddle switch selection, supports 2 or 4 wire PT100 PT1000 (more accurate data, maximum temperature measurement value of 500 ℃, NTC maximum temperature measurement value of 150 ℃).

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This has been a very stable and easy to use board.
*by on Reviewed in the United States 12 August 2024*

I use this board on a stealth burner for a Voron 2.4. As long as you follow instructions and are careful with the fan board (Make sure not to let it short against either the fan or the extruder fasteners in the stealth burner these are great boards. The fan board is in a very tight space, and you need to make sure that if the fan has mylar stickers you insulate it appropriately. I used some black electrical tape and some Kapton tape to make sure it doesn't have a problem. Also check the back of the board and make sure any soldered leads are not too long or sharp. If need be trim and file very carefully. When putting the front on the stealth burner make sure the pins correctly aligned. Look up Esoterical's guide and it will go pretty easy (This is painful experience speaking). It really beats running all those constantly breaking wires through the drag chains. I also used the separate can bus interface board. If you have problems, check for shorts. They are insidious.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Failed connector, loose fuse
*by on Reviewed in Canada 12 February 2026*

Main Connector failed a month in, just outside of return window, fuse holder loose fit.The thermistor connector on this is tiny. The main connector has no reliable locking mech, and the fuse holder can happily loose your fuse.I've got it back running again, after re-soldering the connector, expanding the pins on the 24V a bit for a tight fit, strapping and hot gluing the connector in, made it through one print, the next was an almost instant fail. Fuse in it's connector on the backside started to bounce around in it's connector. Dab of hotglue on that too and maybe it'll hold up?I appreciate the products, but I also want to see improvements that bring more reliable products. These toolheads, in some cases being "whipped" around, we need connectors that can handle the trauma these parts are subjected to.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It does the job - wiring in my Voron is massively reduced.
*by on Reviewed in the United States 1 March 2024*

Now I only have to worry about 4 wires breaking from repetitive stress instead of 20! Software/firmare was a challenge to set up (fortunately there are lots of guides online and in videos), but seems rock-solid once you do. I do have the same complaint many do - the tiny connectors on the PCB are so small they are both a pain and a potential point of failure. For the 2-wire thermistor connector, I soldered wires to it and put a microfit connector on the other end. More reliable and MUCH easier to access when I want to change printheads.
