I highly recommend them for any low budget theater application. (I can't recommend them for a high budget theater application only because I don't have experience with those.) I use them with QLab and I've never had an issue. They are solidly built, and easily drive the DMX line from the front of house throughout the theater. (Although TBH, I'm also a recent convert to using wireless DMX, which of course this also works with. To be clear, it doesn't include a wireless transmitter, but it works just fine with them.) Just in case anyone tries this weird thing that I tried: no, you cannot use the input on this to pass-through signals from another DMX controller.
