These are also one of the least expensive protection devices available. Bought several to give to friends. Some didn’t know that this type of protection was needed. I recommend this card, specifically, because it’s inexpensive, doesn’t require charging a battery, is so slim it doesn’t overload the wallet, seems to only need one for full protection, and finally, it fits so well in a card slot.

**Q: Does the card use active or passive technology?**
A: No moving parts, no battery, so I would describe it as passive.

**Q: How would i know what frequency my cards use? this product won't work with: frequency from 100khz to 125khz.**
A: The best bet is to contact the manufacturer.

**Q: Has anyone tested these?**
A: Only testing I been able to do is use them and hope they are really more then a aluminum card. So bad things so far.

I'm impressed with these. When I held it up to the gas pump reader with my Visa card it said multiple cards detected and would not read my visa card until I removed the blocker away from my card.
