It is more expensive but worth the outlay. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent coffee *by C***É on 11 April 2026* Great coffee , easy to use & clean so convenient ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great coffee, possibly a little over engineered *by O***N on 10 July 2024* I am something of a filter coffee addict and my old machine stopped working and I was horrified to find they were no longer making them so, after searching around, I bought this. It is robust and makes excellent filter coffee. I think the programming is a little too complex and after two months I am still not sure of all the settings (I like a slower drip and the instructions imply you set it each time, but the indicator seems to stay on). It has plenty of capacity, is easy to clean, and the jug is robust and I don't think will break that easily. It keeps the coffee hot for 2 hours and keeps good flavour and then switches off automatically, or you can turn it off manually before that. It brews quite quickly, and you have controls for a faster or slower drip--I think! There are other options for turning on automatically if you want to get up to fresh coffee but I've never used these. Overall, I'm very happy with it I just don't use most of the programmable functions.
