Of course I put a green ink into a Transparent Green Pen, and I picked up J. Herbin Vert de Gris—a lovely ink and it flows flawlessly from the Asvine's stainless steel, surprisingly bouncy nib. I bought the Fine nib and it's a smooth writer with a little flex to it, and the feed is juicy enough to cope with laying down a nice amount of ink to show of the shading of the ink I chose without skipping, and not once has this pen failed to start first time even after more than a few days idle.I really can't recommend this pen highly enough, especially if you've been looking at the V800 as well and consider it to be a bit too girthy—the V126 seems identical but slimmer and possessing a #6 Nib instead of the whopping #8. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not sure on this one *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 October 2025* I collect (and use) fountain pens. I have a few Asvine models and always fine them extremely well made and easy to use. However, this one I have found a little difficult to get used to. It writes ok and is a nice looking pen. I find it hard to pinpoint what I find disappointing with the V126, but, it isn't my favorite Asvine. Possibly it's just the pen I received, but, there are better models from this manufacturer in my opinion.EDIT 19/10/25:I’ve been using this fountain pen for a while now and am finding I’m really starting to fully enjoy it now. I’ve restored my rating to 5 stars as this is actually a very good pen.
