Review: gorgeous, 100% real wood, shipping materials A+ - This is a gorgeous piece of furniture and priced far less than it could be; it has a nice heft and the workmanship is lovely. The wood is a blend of a warm caramel color and darker tones; the smell of real wood is a bonus. It is delightful to find an affordable piece of furniture on desertcart that does not include mdf, other faux wood or plastics. Very easy to assemble. I did it on my own in 10-15 minutes. The console is a few inches higher than the couch on its opposite side, so I needed to remove the company sticker on the back; this will probably be a non-issue for most people who would place against a wall. The sticker was not interested in coming off so I covered it with packing tape and used a hairdryer to heat the sticker and it came off in a flash when I removed the packing tape. (I learned that from a review of a different desertcart product). The console was shipped in the most intense set-up I have ever received. The table was wrapped and bolstered by shipping materials and large sheets of styrofoam on all sides; the legs wrapped separately and placed in a next to the table top; both the top and legs were wrapped again and guarded on all sides by very thick styrofoam and secured well inside of a heavy cardboard box. The box containing the furniture was then shipped inside of the most heavy duty cardboard box I have ever encountered; it was more significant than the boxes that my picture windows were shipped in. This attention to detail ensured the console arrived in perfect condition. 10/10 recommend.

This is a gorgeous piece of furniture and priced far less than it could be; it has a nice heft and the workmanship is lovely. The wood is a blend of a warm caramel color and darker tones; the smell of real wood is a bonus. It is delightful to find an affordable piece of furniture on Amazon that does not include mdf, other faux wood or plastics. Very easy to assemble. I did it on my own in 10-15 minutes. The console is a few inches higher than the couch on its opposite side, so I needed to remove the company sticker on the back; this will probably be a non-issue for most people who would place against a wall.
