Reception is excellent, as good as with any other Bluetooth receiver I own (and I own quite a few of them). There are two "levels" of sound quality. When the large round LED shows blue, that is "regular" sound. When the "3D" button is pressed the LED glows green and the sound is enhanced. I have been using the 3D effect exclusively. Amazon wont let me review it due to lightning deal.** A: A couple of things I noticed with my set-up: I am using a Marantz SR4200 (about 20 years old if I had to guess.) At first I got very little volume. Even with the volume knob cranked all the way on the receiver, it was just low. Then I noticed the volume on my iPhone was somehow set very low. This solved my issue...as I raised the volume one click on the iPhone I'd have to turn the knob on the receiver down to compensate (or it would be loud.) One other thing to note is there is a volume setting on the 1Mii device...perhaps not this one, but on the version I have (B06) there are two buttons up top. One has a plus the other has a minus sign. Make sure to hit the plus until it's at max. **Q: does this one auto shutdown if not used for some hours?** A: You have to shut it off or it sits there and searches for a Bluetooth signal. It will auto connect with whatever device is available. I leave mine on so I can just auto connect when I walk into the house for music from my phone. **Q: Does this supply audio output to both outputs (RCA and 3.5mm) simultaneously?** A: Saw question & got curious so... Plugged a pr of cheap headphones into the 3.5mm jack while simultaneously connected to a stereo & played a song using Pandora. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bluetooth audio receiver *by C***O on May 14, 2026* I use this device hard wired in my front of house rack for my band. We use it to remotely connect to iPad via bluetooth and play house music before our set. Single 3.5mm Y cable with 2 1/4" male plugs right into 2 channels on my mixer (for Left and Right) and the connections were done except for the power. Nice length on the power cable, my only gripe is that it didn't come with the power brick (minus one star). I like that it's versatile with easy functionality. No latency that I could tell (or that would really matter). Item is pretty lightweight but feels sturdy, we'll see how well it holds up in the back of a tour rack. Hard mounted in my rack and connects across large stages and rooms (sometimes 50-100 feet away) and plays perfectly. It's great for my needs and sounds good. This unit however is simply a bluetooth RECEIVER, it DOES NOT TRANSMIT bluetooth. In this regard it works perfectly for me.
