I used one for my god, on her collar and it worked well until she went swimming. She is a gentle, trepidatious swimmer and still, the Mili tag stopped working, or rather, transmitting its location. I re-set it several times, it turns on and off and I was initially able to get my phone to recognize it but after two additional tries, it just stopped working altogether, even with battery changes and resets. So I changed it for another and added some etc to the surface, along the edge, to make it waterproof. Thought I’d use it on my dog’s collar again but decided against it. Connected it to my phone and decided to use it in my extra vehicle, so that when my kids used it, I’d know where the vehicle was if they didn’t respond or turned off their location. It hasn’t gotten wet, it’s been in tue vehicle for three weeks now and I lost its signal. It tells me that it’s at home when it clearly isn’t. Is there a need to reset it regularly? If so, why? It’s been sitting in a vehicle, in a cubby, with no moisture. My phone can’t even ask it to sound its location, it just won’t connect. While they worked, they were great!
