Very clear display not had any problems viewing the time from any angle. The alarm is great, I use it mostly for my baking and it's a good loud alarm that I can hear from the kitchen when I am in the living room. One of the timers on arrival had a bad display, only showing some of the LCD info. Fortunately, it was easy to open up to clean and re-align LCD contacts. Now works as expected.
