The pieces are between about 3cm for the lawns to about 6cm for the king and queen. It's a nice size to play on a coffee table, and ha a really satisfying "woody" feel to it. I hope you have as much fun with it as we've had with ours ! Ps - only drawback is rule book would be nice, as we've had to make up our own rules about how pieces traverse the divide in the board.
