It’s works fine, although I do hold the chains above it a little when looking at points because any slight tap of the chain the level starts moving around a lot and takes time to settle. I use the tripod which is nice kind of a bit to carry, everyone likes the tripod. However, I do think even with the tripod the laser gets knocked over cause it’s pretty light. I haven’t had any issues with the batteries like other reviews saying it only last 2 hours not sure how much time I’ve have mine on, but I still have the batteries it came with. I do carry spare batteries just in case it dies, and turn it off when I know I won’t be needing it for a bit. The green laser is super easy to see even in arenas with the higher ceilings, a lot of people I work with have the Bosch red laser so whenever I’m helping someone with the red laser I pull this one out and we’ll use it instead. It’s ok does the job, I am worried however that it doesn’t seem durable, but it’s also 1/5th the price of a PLS.
