Β Some people think dice are just dice, but I disagree. You can learn a lot about a person from their dice. Are they fancy? Basic? Are they metal dicers? Or resin? Mixed colors? Solid colors? Dice spinners? Do they prefer form over function? There's never been more variety in dice right now and I love some of the designs companies are putting out.This set of dice from Febote checks all right boxes for me. They're solid resin, with beautiful design, great readability, and a great feel in your hand. I love them.They come in a fairly boring metal tin, with a foam insert to keep them solidly in place during transport. Once out of the case, they shine, with the crackling sparkles in the depth of the dice very evident once they hit the table. I got the red ones with the gold numbers and they are just stunning.Roll them together in your hand and they feel great, with sharp but comfortable edges that result in a nice roll. They sound solid when they hit the table, and will make a satisfying lump if you find a reason to peg one at the forehead of an argumentative DM.The numbers look painted on and not actually recessed into the die, so we'll see how the paint holds up over time but for right now, I'm enjoying these. They have the oooh and aahhh factor that a great set of dice has and are easy to use for rolls or as counters.
