Both can be manually turned off. **Q: Does this unit come with the reducer nozzle?** A: The CSB2B does not come with a flow restrictor spray head, but BUNN can mail a flow restrictor for a new machine. Please send a parts request to https://retail.bunn.com/support/support-request **Q: Can I put in a cup of water & have it drain hot into a cup?** A: I can't see why not ... but have your catch cup ready, and you may need a bit more than a cup because there might have been a little evaporation from the day before... hope this helps. **Q: is the filter cup holder stainless steel or plastic?** A: It is plastic, but very sturdy.
