But I tried a number of the less expensive ones from desertcart, and returned the others. Driver issues, recognition issues on my laptop, dropping usb connection etc. (including some well know name brands) but this colourful little thing looks good, sounds good, and plugs and plays the first time and every time. It’s was effortless. I’ve since bought a professional audiophile version from CAD, but I just passed this on to my brother who also loves it and uses it daily. It’s very worth the price if you want to do any sort of hobby broadcasting, recording, editing, or podcasting. This can be a pretty excellent, clean sounding, and very inexpensive audio interface for your laptop or computer, and I read that someone uses it on their tablet too. I loved it.

This is my first ever audio interface. For about a year I was using a blue yeti usb mic but I knew that I would eventually need to transition to using an xlr mic. Thankfully with how affordable this device was I managed to get all the equipment I needed, as far as audio, in no time! This little audio interface works great! I have no issues or complaints. I'm not sure how heavy most interfaces are but this one is pretty lite, so i can't say much on build quality but it seems good. Easy to use for sure. If you are looking for a budget friendly option I would absolutely recommend this item 100%!
