I was very pleased to see this kit was on offer as trying to pull together all the myriad parts was the thing I dreaded most. This kit not only makes getting everything a breeze, but also does several things right that just make the whole experience that much nicer.The first thing I noticed was that it was physically a lot smaller than I expected, but this was a good thing. The lack of size is not a lack of content, there really is a ton packed in here, and I loved that it didn't take up much space and I could do all the experiments in front of my PC keyboard. Everything is well packed, but easy to put back in when you're done, and each part comes in an envelope listing which experiments it is used in. The matchbox design for the exterior is super cute and I appreciated that they give you several extra of each component in case you mess up or just want to experiment. I also really liked that each paper envelope had the schematic symbol of each part on it, which helped to reinforce what you saw in the book. The only kinda-problem I had was that the batteries were very difficult to remove from the battery holders, but I really appreciated that they included batteries in the first place and a little forcing got them out.If you're looking to go through Make:Electronics, you absolutely need to get this.
