## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this fit the grohe 40444001 essentials soap dish and silver holder ?**
A: I bought the dish for a non-Grohe fitting, after its glass dish had been broken, on seeing that the diameter of the bottom of the 40368001 made it suitable as a replacement, and it’s worked fine.

**Q: What is the diameter of the base of this soap dish?**
A: The base is tapered from 57.14mm diameter at the bottom to 58.85mm diameter at the underside of the bowl. The bowl is 109.53mm diameter. All dimensions are approximate!!!

**Q: I have a holder grohe 40444001 essentials soap dish and silver holder, soap dish has broken, will this fit the holder grohe 40444001?**
A: Hi Naeem
The bowl fitted our existing holder but don't know what make our holder was. I just measured our existing holder which was within 2mm of the measurement described on Amazon for the Grohe soap dish. I bought the dish and it fitted perfectly.
Hope this helps.
Sadly, I have since accidently broken the Grohe soap dish and couldn't get another as they were our of stock!
Best regards
Maurice

**Q: Is there a small hole in the dish to drain water?**
A: No, the water drips into the slight depression in the bottom. A hole would be a great improvement.
