You can plug in your 45w, 60w or whatever your laptop uses to this, plus you get 2 extra USB 3 ports. It will also work as a straight USB C to 2-port USB 3 hub if you don’t need to use the power pass-thru, but if that’s all you need there are cheaper hub solutions. It connects via USB-C to my laptop and has other ports on it to connect additional peripherals.
