The one we have has a screw lock on each side to tighten to the bowl.** A: The seat is not that secure. It has a small plastic ring that goes into the bowl and the rest depends on luck. We bought another from a medical supply store much like the one you describe. with screw locks. The toilet riser was too small for my toilet bowl. It slides around. I rolled up two white hand towels and put between the back of riser and toilet tank.
