Works right out of box! (or I would have returned it.)2. NOT for beginners!NOTE: After Extruder calibration you must also fallow with manual Level Calibration. (not auto calibration.) Other wise your head might be too high or too low. Printer needs to know where your bed is to print properly.NOTE To FF: The extruder and Level calibration should be as one sequence to prevent scraping head on the bed or printer displaying message that head will hit the bed when in reality it would not.a. Its pointless to level the bed if the printer does not know where head is located.b. Its pointless to level extrusion head if printer does not know where the bed is.Logic outcome : The sensor and the extrusion head must be calibrated together for prints to work or prevent head crashing to the bed. Please put that sequence together to prevent users skipping that part.These printer has too many features and you must know how to calibrate these printer for each filament.The bigger the printer the longer it takes to get it running.I wish it had more universal features to hold different brands filaments but that is about all negative thing I have to say so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent 3D Printer! *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2020* This is the most fuss free 3D printer! Within an hour of taking it out of the box, it was printing face shields for the medical professionals in our family and their colleagues. We have the FlashForge Finder also, but it is more of a beginner 3D printer and the build platform was too small to print the face shield parts which led us to purchasing the FlashForge Guider 2. We did initially, however, try a different brand to save a few $ and quickly learned that not every 3D printer is alike. The FlashForge brand of printers are easy to setup and operate beautifully. It comes with FlashPrint software and manuals on a flash drive. I am very happy with the Guider 2's larger platform, functions, software, and ease of use. ### ⭐⭐ Not expected from Flashforge *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2020* I have choose to buy flashforge because I know how big and mature they are. Their series of product and about their maturity but looks like the unit I have received is not good at all. Which really surprised me how such a costly machine get out to customer without proper QC.1. It's extrude was not calibrated at all and almost scraping print bed while printing. But thanks to functionality available in menu I have get this done by my self. But this was not expected and supposed to be fine tune out of factory settings.2. I have notices even y-axix belts do not have proper tension, I cant fix this specially when I have just got this machine out of factory.3. I have tried two types of filament filament PLA and ABS of various brands but not a single good print out of this. Lot of stringing issue, layer skipping, etc. with different different settings using flash print slicer software.4. I have tried to call amazon customer care but no one is available to answer my queries and haven't receive call back from them yet.5. I have tried to reach out to Flashforge customer care support via call but no one is available to answer, I would drop an email and will wait for their reply.
