### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definately improved quality over built-in laptop microphone

I purchased a desktop mic (slightly larger than this one) from Amazon a few years ago for the same price, and it had a deep resonate tonal quality. When I went to buy a second one for my laptop, I discovered that it was no longer made, so I opted for this one, mainly because I simply wanted a better audio quality for Zoom meetings than what my built-in laptop mic provided. This mic is a definite improvement. It doesn't have that deep resonant bass sound that I like with my desktop mic -- even through quality speakers, I can tell it's a bit tiny but it is ions better than the horrible quality I was getting from my built-in mic. If it lasts, I'll be perfectly happy with it.
