It's got a solid, heavy build that makes it easy to keep in place when drilling. As others mention, the black-on-black size markings can be hard to read, but for me, just tilting it to catch the right angle of light is enough to find the size I need. It's small enough to easily stash in a pocket or any toolbox drawer, and it can also be stuck on a magnet bar. My only "complaint" would be the height of the block. Even with the 45-degree bottom bevel, I feel it could be slightly shorter while still providing the right angle guide.
