As seen in the photo it measures approx. 41cm (width), 50cm (front to back), and 23.5cm (height). But that's just the start. To use the straight-through paper path - yes, it has one! - you must fold down trays at front and back, and then the total front-to-back distance is around 100cm. You should also allow space at the sides for ventilation, and even 70cm above. In short, it is not small.If you can cope with that, and have someone to help you lift it (I didn't but I may consider marriage to a Viking warrior princess next time) it will repay your hard work. As a business printer it offers duplexing and supports Ethernet networking as well as direct USB connection. Its special feature (in laser printers I have only seen this on Oki) is the straight-through paper path. This enables you to print on card up to 220gsm, or extra-long banners. That's pretty rare for a laser printer, and not many reviews mention it. As others have said, build quality is impressive: even the Ethernet and USB ports are tucked-away behind a little trap door on one of the rear corners. Print quality is fine, for 'office' use, and there are plenty of set-up options in the driver, once you get to grips with it. (It is not easy but it gets you there.) Photographers should look elsewhere as this is not a photo machine. I can confirm that the set-up sheet inside the box is a joke, and I was so grateful that mine, bought on an Amazon Warehouse deal, arrived ready to use. Finally, this machine is tough: Amazon shipped it from Scotland to Wiltshire overnight, it arrived on its side, yet it all worked fine. If your furniture can take the weight, and you can use its special features, it should be good for years.PS If you want to use this under Linux, forget it. I think you will need the c531.
