I wanted basic musts like parent-lock and different sized rings. For me other features were unnecessary and made other models expensive. Touch control very responsive and so a "touch" is all that's needed. My only gripe is that to turn up to maximum heat (9) can't hit the minus key (like a back button) I have to scroll through all numbers! I've also seen some ridiculous reviews that mention cleaning is not very good. The problem here is they don't use clean cloths to start with - I use a ceramic hob cleaner, clean damp cloth to clean and a dry clean cloth to wipe dry - no issues. Yes it is a dust magnet but it shows because it's black!
