The action is very smooth, and since the blade is on the larger side, the mass of the blade material does most of the work in moving the blade.In contrast the Spydero Smock blade is light in comparison and takes more force to move, and the Zero Tolerance 0450 even more. The 0450 also becomes extremely difficult to open after a few months of carrying and ZT won't fix it claiming users just "forgot" how to deploy a flipper :eye_roll:But back to the CIVIVI Button Lock Praxis... wow. Smooth deployment like a Zero Tolerance, large blade with a big belly perfect for slicing, and I happen to like metal scales and the aluminum is pretty nice.I bought this for less than seventy money units and it is worth twice that, if you don't require a "fancy" name brand stamped on the blade.If you are looking for a fidgety EDC knife to play with during the day, to slice open boxes and apples or cut rope, and you don't want to worry about damaging an expensive knife, get this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Probably the best EDC I’ve e er owned. *by on Reviewed in the United States August 2, 2026* Technology has come a long way, the Damascus is real Damascus, it’s etched to bring out the layers. Incredibly sharp and holds an edge well. Ease of operation opening and closing one handed. Just buy one. It’s perfect , and your other knives wont be used as much. The feel is as good as you’re going to get. There are no negatives about this knife.
