## Questions & Answers

**Q: How thick & how strong is the Kingfisher HD twine? Have you any idea what length is on the roll?**
A: It's a fairly big roll. At least 50m. It's pretty strong but not very thick. I use it doubled to hold up my tomato plants in the greenhouse. It does degrade, in use, after a while say 8/9 months. The twine on the roll doesn't degrade. All in all a reasonably good buy.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars

    Very low breaking strain

*by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 November 2015*

To describe this as 'heavy duty' to my mind breaches the Trades Descriptions Act. I appreciate it's only string but I did a quick test when it arrived and was able to snap a length between my fingers with no more than about 10 kg of force. After exposure to UV light and the elements outdoors, expect the breaking strain to go south even more. Unless I got a dodgy roll, the review above that likens it to baling twine is nonsense.

    Does the job

It's very strong twine. I use it to support my tomato plants in my greenhouse. You need good quality and strength otherwise you can loose your crop due to twine failure.
