The adapter worked right away on my Windows 10 PC. I had to play around with bios settings on my Proxmox server (Disabled WAN Radio and Bluetooth). I attached heatsinks to the chips, but that probably wasn't necessary. I 3D printed a PCI bracket for my Windows PC and cut a hole in the IO shield for my server to mount the RJ45 connectors.
