As with other flat rules, it’s easy to make accurate layout measurements and marks. I think the price is reasonable.

I don’t like tape measures for most of my layout needs. This Klein folding rule was closest to a rule that was gifted to me by my dad. Unfortunately after 50 years it broke. I was used to the black on brown marking so it’s easy for me to read. The folded rule fits easily in my the rule pocket of carpenter pants or a shop apron. This rule can be read from both sides from the same end. It helps when laying the rule down from any point and being able to keep the rule flat without the unfolded side holding the rule off the wood. It is easy to read and tight to unfold. I would recommend this rule. It is priced well for what it does. I will buy again rather than look everywhere for one in a store.
