I just bought a new ROLAND V71 Digital Drum Module and the first thing that I needed to do was to update the FIRMWARE to the latest and most recent version. I wish to use my new iPad 10th Generation Tablet with this new Drum Module but the iPad does not have its own SD Card Slot. The solution? This xdgeLoad USB-C Type C SD Reader! I also purchased an SD Card here on Amazon. It was so easy and basically plug-n-play. Done very fast and correctly. This handy little reader will even work on my new SAMSUNG cellphone as it too utilizes the USB-C Type input, so theoretically I could have downloaded the FIRMWARE update onto my cellphone and performed the same operation as the iPad if I wanted to (unless there were a file size issue?).
