I was on my computer, and all of a sudden there was a very loud noise in my headphones and then all sound cut out. My computer has no sound and no microphone inputs. I contacted Mackie customer support on October 28, and after the customer service agent told me that I should have bought a back-up, I was sent an email requesting more information. I replied to the email with all the requested information 12 minutes later. It has been 8 days and I have not heard anything from Mackie. So I reached out to their customer service department again to check on the status assuming some progress had been made. I was told that they are still waiting on my response. Buy the Rode Streamer X, or anything other than the Mackie. Even though I read the few reviews that I was able to find, and they weren't all very favorable, I liked the idea of an all-in-one device. I wasn't too keen on the max resolution being 1080p. But for the convenience, and since it was my entry into streaming, I thought 4k would be overkill for now. However, I realized before even connecting it that the most important feature wouldn't work because of the "limitation" of my system. The video capture REQUIRES the 3.x version of a USB port. My system only has 2.0.
