Review: non-toxic, clean, WITH a catch - would be nice if it contained aloe, but nice that it has essential oils! very clean and nontoxic soap, which is very important to us. does not leave residue. can be used on glass and cleans well without smears. good size, can get two full refills. is gentle, does not damage dishes. it doesnt foam which we like. the scent is subtle and not overpowering, but has a nice lemon smell (at least for the lemon verbena) very nice that its so cheap and you can reuse by refilling dispensers instead of buying plastic stuff! definitely recommend if you want to help the environment, and this is cheaper and better too Review: Not Non-Toxic...Low-Tox Maybe - This contains synthetic ingredients and preservatives that are known to be "toxic". Maybe considered "low-toxic" - a good in-between of non-toxic and toxic. Laureth-7 is not a non-toxic ingrident and neither are methylisothiazzolinone and benzizothiazolione. Those are artifical, and considered toxic preservatives if you look up their data. So if you want low tox or just a regular dish soap that has a few "natural" ingredients thrown in, this is just fine. However if you want a true 100% non-toxic - this isn't it! So depending on your wants/preferences it could be a great soap or a bad soap! For me, I'm ok using it for now until it's gone (I'm more for low-toxic than non- toxic) but since these chemicals are in contract with my skin so much in hot water, I do like my dish soap to at least be considered safe or non-toxic. Once I got over that, I found that it's a pretty good liquid soap: I like that it's plant-based and gently on my hands. It doesn't seem as effective on greasy dishes as other natural brands do, so 1 point deduction for that. Would I buy it again?
