Usually burning/stinging happens with irritating ingredients and acids, and this product has neither. This is much less irritating than other acne washes, but the benzoyl peroxide can be drying. **Q: is it tinted?** A: This is a cleanser and not a topical. You use it to wash your face instead of using soap. I feel much better using it than other brands that have very harsh and questionable chemicals. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't give me any problems. What I love most is that the peroxide does a great job with the anti-bacterial effect.
