It is fun and funky but it also adds an educational dimension by demonstrating the basic premise of a windmill to my children. They have made windmills for cards, for decorations and for our garden. It does everything it says on the box and we just love it. No need to buy extra parts exactly for this machine either we found that if you have a square of paper 'roughly' the size it works just as well and instead of buying the extra accesories we used paper split pins and art straws which just as well. So relieved it works with other compatible items as so many toys require you to buy their specific accessories. Great little gadget.
