I have it mounted on a desk that has side panels for the throttle on the left and the flight stick on the right side. I have Saitek rudder pedals on the floor. My setup has 3 FIPSs on each side along the top row with an iPad in the middle using the top two rows of the center. This iPad is removable and can be powered while installed in the Avionics Panel. The left side has a Radio Panel in the middle and the Switch panel on the bottom. The right side has the Multi Panel in the middle and a 2nd Radio Panel on the bottom. Underneath the iPad in the middle I used the area designated for the Yoke to mount the BIP (Backlit Instrument Panel)This a very high quality unit, well built with heavy duty metal and attractive stitching along the top and sides. The top is soft to the feel just like a real airplane panel. It comes with a full set of mounting screws for installing the Saitek panels. These are longer than the standard Saitek supplied screws and work great.Desk mounting in only one method of use. This was probably designed to be used with the Volair Flight Chassis and be mounted on the large shelf.You will need to mount your monitors high enough to be seen when looking over the Avionics Panel. I have mine on a handmade stand made from a piece of laminate with pieces of 2 x 4 studs cut to fit for each monitor. I use 3 Dell 24 IN WS HD monitors, but you can use any sized monitors or even one or two monitors.This review is a replacement for the one that was accidentally removed by Amazon. I answered several questions about what is included and what is not included with this Avionics Panel. None of the instruments, monitors, keyboard or mouse is included.
