It looks nice when it's closed and holds 3 - 5 medium sized logs. We did purchase a circular heat like it to help protect the deck, because we initially put it on our our field turf in the backyard and quickly burned a hole where the edge of the metal base touches the ground. I especially like the lid keeping things looking clean and tidy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Classy, with a bit of flaw. *by T***™ on June 2, 2024* ITEM AS DELIVERED:Product is packaged unassembled, but came with just enough pieces (lid, bowl, base, set of 3 screws/washers/nuts, and a makeshift rudimentary screw driver). There was no solid form of cushioning inside for transport.ASSEMBLY:Assembly may seem straightforward with some caveats. Bottom assembly needed two people as this is quite heavy. Assembly was made sideways with one person holding the bowl and pushing the screws with washers. The holes of the base don't seamlessly line up as is so it may take some rotation to get them in the correct position.QUALITY:The material is solid and the iron is thick as advertised and the look and feel of the whole product is quite stylish for its price point. However, there were chipped off edges on the rim of the bowl, and same with the base.The logo on the lid is partially scraped, with some unknown stain on that area of the lid.PERFORMANCE:The product is pending testing with actual wood and fire usage. Will update this review after testing it outdoors as well with typical Texas weather. As the bowl’s core material is iron, I can predict that the part that will start rusting will be that edge where it was chipped off.SIZE:Advertised size of 25” may appear small on paper but is actually decent sized.COVER:Nice and solid, and is quite heavy and sturdy. Definitely not flimsy. Lid has extended sides that secures it to the rim of the bowl.
